In this committed weekly group, we will integrate the stillness of mindfulness meditation with the movement practice of the 5Rhythms. Mindfulness is a state of being where we are in contact with the present moment; just as it is. Through both 5Rhythms dance and meditation we learn ways of opening to the full experience of each moment, cutting through our habits of limiting, judging, or disconnecting. These practices are rooted in long traditions that lead us on a path towards a more connected, open-hearted, and peaceful life.

David Denis is a Registered Psychotherapist and has been teaching Mindfulness for 6 years. Layah Jane is a certified 5Rhythms teacher, and is accredited with the 5Rhythms Teachers Association. Layah has facilitated movement for people of all ages and abilities since 2003, and is passionate about offering space for music and motion to become medicine.
