This year we will be raising funds to support the Native Women’s Association of Canada and the Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG), as well as supporting our Toronto Moving Meditation Scholarship Fund, and once again opening our Baskets of Warmth to be filled by your generosity with new or gently used, clean socks, scarves or other warm articles for those in need here in Toronto during the winter months!

In 2015, at our first Light Up the Night, we raised over $1100 and had almost $1500 worth of Raffles donated to Light Up the Night!
It was an incredible night of dancing and community to raise funds for Syrian refugee families coming to Canada, and to inaugurate a new workshop scholarship fund to help those in financial need attend moving meditation workshops in Toronto.
In 2016, we held a wonderfully successful Sweat Your Prayers® fundraiser on December 18 that supported both local centres caring for the homeless in Toronto, and the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe protest of the Dakota Access Pipeline. And we filled Baskets of Warmth with generous donations of socks, scarves and snowsuits for those in need during the winter months!
Light Up the Night will be back on Saturday, December 9, 2017!
7:00 – 9:30 pm
240 Roncesvalles Ave,
$25 Suggested Price at the door

On this night we will again dance our hearts out, coming together to light up the night…for those in need!
