Mia Borodacz

MiaMia (Marusia) Borodacz loves to dance!  She is passionate about dance as a spiritual practice and as a powerful catalyst for self discovery, transformation and healing.

Mia discovered the 5Rhythms® in the 1990’s and immediately knew she had found a practice that spoke to her body, mind and soul. She apprenticed with Gabrielle Roth for several years and was certified as a 5Rhythms® teacher in 1998.

Her passion for the 5Rhythms® moved her to spark the beginnings of the Toronto 5Rhythms® community in 1994.  She shares her love of this powerful movement meditation practice with others by creating a sacred, open space for embodied movement and self expression.

  1. Hello Mia,
My name is Danny Hakim. I am Australian and my wife is Canadian but we live in Israel. We are coming to spend a week in Toronto from 20-25 July. We heard a lot of great things about the 5rythms in Toronto and would like to experience a few sessions while we are in town. Is it possible? Please advise me when is the best time to visit.
    Thank you
    Danny

  2. Hello Danny! Rhondda here. I am so sorry that we missed your inquiry in July — it would have been so wonderful to dance with you and your wife while you were in Toronto! We did have a few things going on then. I hope you found some.
I imagine you’re back in Israel now and, not sure if you’re aware or have a place to dance there, or exactly where you are, but there are some wonderful 5Rhythms teachers there. You can find them by searching on the 5Rhythms.com Global Web site. All the best to you both and I hope we have a chance to dance together another time if you are back in Toronto anytime again. The schedule for all classes is posted on this site and also on FB 5RhythmsToronto. All the best to you, Rhondda

  3. Hi Steve … so very sorry for the slow response … we don’t check the comments here very often. Mia (Marusia) is currently out of the country for an extended period of time and generally doesn’t check here at all. I’ll let her know you’re trying to connect. All the best! Rhondda
