Imagine moving barefoot on green ground together, a morning sunlit sky arcing overhead, and a gentle warm breeze dancing across our skin.
We are in a forest grove in High Park.
We are in a grassy and treed meadow by the beach at Ashbridge’s Bay.
We are held by a 5Rhythms Wave of music, our breath, and by the sacred beauty of our surroundings.

This summer we will come together to dance in select outdoor locations in Toronto, using Silent Disco Headsets. We will let the 5Rhythms movement practice guide us into deeper connection with ourselves, with each other, and with the natural world.

Pre-registration is required.
Exact locations within the parks will be emailed to you after you register.
Silent Disco Headsets will be provided. All equipment will be sanitized between each use.

TIMING
9:45am arrive, check-in, and receive your headset
10am opening circle
10:15am 5Rhythms Wave / movement practice
11:35am closing circle

*Tiered pricing is available so that those of us with more can share, and those of us who could use some support can receive it. When you register at the Supporter rate, a portion of your registration fee is applied toward another dancer’s reduced-rate spot. If a lower price will make the classes accessible for you, please register at the ‘Supported’ rate. If you know you want to dance regularly, and these prices are a barrier for you, please email me at layahjane@hotmail.com for a possible partial scholarship or work trade opportunity.
